Mark Schoepf: West Texas Cotton Farmer
On this episode of the Crossfire Podcast we travel to West Texas to talk to a 4th generation Cotton Farmer. Mark started farming with his dad and brother in the early 1980s, but that is not where his story started. Mark’s great-grandfather moved to Crosby County, Texas to escape the Cotton Boll Weevil from Bell County in 1927. He explains how his family has seen innovation change the way cotton is farmed. Now Mark works with his sons Josh and John (The 5th generation) to sustainably grow cotton for some very significant brands.
